On October 9 we premiered in the Filmoteca of the Region of Murcia, the documentary dedicated to the brilliant inventor of the autogyro “Juan de la Cierva, Flying without wings”.
The documentary tells the story and life of Juan de la Cierva, whose goal was to find the safest system to fly, and he succeeded. The autogyro is the safest aircraft ever created, a shame that after crossing borders, first England, and the United States later, and with great success. His autogyro became the first aircraft to land and take off from the White House itself in Washington. After his death everything was forgotten, although the autogiro is still alive thanks to different private companies around the world, but not at the level that Juan de la Cierva himself was aimed at looking and finding. Even so, his technological creations are still alive since they were used so that the helicopter itself could fly.
It has been a year of hard work, but whose result has been really brilliant, at least that’s how I feel. Orchestral and electronic music mixed in epic environments and in more sentimental moments create this soundtrack.
