It’s been really fantastic news. To try I sent the documentary “Murcia 1200, twelve centuries with heart” to the Parma Festival, one of the festivals that are considered important within the Industry, not at a top level, true, but close. After doing the translation into Italian with subtitles, work cost me, I sent it directly to the organization. And we were lucky, we were officially selected, with the opportunity to be judged by the Jury of the Festival to win the Violeta de Oro (Best composer of a project soundtrack) and the Violeta de Plata (to the producer of the project).
In the end we did not win, but we do have the right to place the laurels to the documentary, so we are really happy, both the production company Item Audiovisual, S.L., and me as composer of the soundtrack of the documentary.
