December 9, 2025 is undoubtedly engraved in my memory. Despite already having many recognitions and being the winner of several international competitions, nothing like being a prophet in your own land. And I have achieved it with a wonderful soundtrack, inspired by one of the great world-famous aeronautical geniuses, although in our own country he is not recognized too much, such as Juan de la Cierva. The documentary “Flying without wings”, makes a journey through his life, focused on safety in flight, creating the Autogiro, and from there, everything that has to do with the current helicopter. A documentary made with great effort and with the necessary means to be without a doubt, one if not the best that has been made so far. Interviews in Murcia, Madrid, London, Los Angeles… Thanks to Item Audiovisuales for the trust to compose the music.
The awards have a number of categories, and it is to be appreciated that practically from the birth of these prestigious awards, they remember the audiovisual. Already in 2022 I was a finalist for the soundtrack of the short film “Julia Domna”. And this 2025, the jury has considered that the bso of “Flying without wings”, deserved the award.
