In 2019 Sarah Torres, with whom I had worked on several projects, called me to compose the original soundtrack for her new short film, a really fantastic short, in homage to H. P. Lovecraft.
It occurred to me to compose putting myself in the place of those musicians who played the piano when, at the beginning of the century, those marvelous silent films were projected in theaters, and to give atmosphere and accompany the action, the pianist delighted the public by taking them by hand in action on screen. This is how this soundtrack came about.
